KAKA’ QUESTION. On reports that Real Madrid were interested in signing Kakà,
Galliani said: ’There doesn’t seem to have been any contact with the player, but we need to verify that. Anyway, it’s an honour that a certain type of club admire our players. I have to say that it’s easy to buy a player for 40-50 million euro and it looks good: it’s another thing to bring in a 19-year-old lad into the team when you have Rui Costa and Rivaldo, and then manage to bring him along in a short time. This is the sort of thing that gives you a lift, the beautiful thing about football.’
